Covid has made it very hard to get in some self care with closures and limited occupancy in buildings.
I am a high risk person with asthma. I am not able to wear a mast while working out, so no gym for me. But home yoga and outside walks are wonderful. The fresh air and sunshine is what my body and mind need. Bonus... vitamin D helps boost your immune system! Woohoo 🏃♂️ ☀️ 🧘♂️
Mental health is a hot topic this year. Now more than every it is openly talked about.
Feeling down one day and blah the next has been the swing this year. Working on your self care can help. But with the lack of personal contact and “normal” life missing from a lot of our lives it is so important to buff up on uplifting moments.
It’s totally ok to cry and have your bad day(s). Just don’t live in the pain/sad space. 💫
You are what you eat. Yeah you have heard that. But are you paying attention to how you are feeling when you eat a meal. What did you put on your plate? Is it balanced? If not that’s ok. Pay attention to how you body feels or reacts to the food you ate. If you are feeling off then maybe don’t eat that item.
As I recommend to my clients if you eat a less nutrient dense meal, the next one should be nutrient rich! 🥗
