Mask up- Get Ready to See a New Glow in the Mirror
Ready for a glow on your face to match what you have going on in the inside?

We have been covering up our Face for almost a year now. Lets freshen up our skin with some glow worthy face masks you can make at home.
Most ingredients are in your kitchen right now.
These ingredients for a simple face mask you can eat. All natural ingredients with no fillers or preservatives.
If its good for your outside think about what some of these ingredients can do for your inside GLOW. Before trying out any of these make sure are are not allergic to the ingredients in the facial mask recipe as it will sit on your face for up 30 min. You don't want to have a negative reaction. After all, this is self care. To help reset our week and be ready to feel positive. Best to start with a fresh face. Always wash your face before to remove make up and toxins you have picked up in you day. How often to mask up?? I like to make it apart of my Sunday once a month, while home busy with family I take 30 mins for myself. It helps my face feel clean (and my mind) relax from the busy week ahead. I hope you will try some if not all I have put together and find some benefits.
Almond meal (Flour) and Oatmeal mask

4 Tablespoons of oatmeal
1 Tablespoon of almond meal
Mix it together then add
1 Tbsp. of honey and a splash of milk
(if you don't have dairy ok to use a nut milk.
Apply on the face for five minutes and massage gently for 2 to 3 minutes. The almond meal will help massage off the dead skin.
Wash off the scrub with lukewarm water.
This mask will help you with wrinkles. Who doesn't love that?
Oats are packed full of so much goodness such as Vit B, Iron, copper, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Selenium. Almonds are also nutritious with having the benefit of Potassium, Riboflavin, and Vit E.
Cooling Cucumber & Honey mask

Grate 1 cucumber
1 Tbsp of honey and mix together
Gently apply to your face, it can be tricky
to get the cucumber to stay but well worth it
Relax and let the skin soak in the goodness.
Wash off after 20 minutes
Cucumbers are naturally hydrating, helps against acne, calms irritations and inflammation. Honey is by nature anti-microbial + anti-septic. It can benefit oily acne prone skin and helps moisturize. This mask just feels so good. Your skin will be moist and feel so fresh and ready for the week.
That Turmeric Glow mask

1 teaspoon Turmeric
2 Tablespoons of flour (your choice)
1/4 teaspoon honey
3 Tablespoons of Milk (your choice)
Mix together to form a paste and brush on your face and leave for 15 min rinse well with warm water. Add a little almond oil or coconut oil after and enjoy you glow
Turmeric benefits are infinite and include:
Boosts healing
Helps treat psoriasis
Helps acne scarring
May treat scabies
May help other skin conditions
Research has found turmeric blocks the protein that causes inflammation related to stress, free radicals and ultraviolet radiation. we all could use more of this in our busy on the go lives. *Pro tip* Don't put on mask before your next zoom meeting. (haha)
Its normal (but doesn't always happen) for your skin to pick up some yellow tint from the turmeric it does come off.
Lemon + Crushed Tomato mask

2 T of lemon juice
1 small tomato crushed up into a puree
( A fork works or through it in your blender)
Mix together and apply to face for 20 min and wash it off it.
This mask is packed with beta carotene and Vit E.
The natural Vit. C will clean up the dead skin & leave you with a fresh face.
*Note this will remove your self tanners and sun kissed tans
Avocado mask

1/2 avocado mashed up
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon plan yogurt
1 egg white
Mix well together with a whisk to make sure it is all incorporated.
Apply to face and let sit for 15 min. Rinse with warm water.
Your skin is loving this anti-oxidant fighting mask. Avocados boost skin's immunity against stress and other environmental factors. Honey helps with fighting acne with its antimicrobial properties, yogurt will Increased elasticity, reduced fine lines and wrinkles. The egg white will help in so many ways including: toning your skin. Egg whites firm your skin by removing excess dirt, oil and dead cells on your face. Egg whites can remove unwanted facial hair, firm and shrink your pores, reduce puffiness under your eyes, rid your face of blemishes, minimize oily skin, protect your face from UV rays, and eliminate blackheads.
